Since 2006, Massimo Damiano has dedicated his life to sharing the magic of one of Italy’s greatest culinary treasures: the truffle. Born and raised in the heart of Umbria, Italy, Massimo founded Il Tartufo di Massimo to bring the authentic taste of fresh black and white truffles—along with artisanal oils, sauces, and gourmet experiences—to discerning palates around Europe.

What began as a family-inspired passion for foraging and traditional Italian cooking grew into a dedicated truffle business. Today, Massimo supplies a curated selection of fresh truffles and truffle-based products to a wide range of clients—including Michelin-starred restaurants, specialty wholesalers, B2B partners, and private customers who appreciate authentic Italian flavour.

But Il Tartufo di Massimo is more than a supplier—it’s an invitation to experience Italy at its finest. Massimo personally curates bespoke Italian getaways where guests can enjoy hands-on truffle hunting in the woods, truffle-infused dinners, exclusive winery visits, and charming local accommodations. Massimo also believes in giving back. Over the years, Il Tartufo di Massimo has proudly sponsored the Breast Cancer Foundation in the Netherlands, as well as select restaurants within Les Patrons Cuisiniers.
