There are few things more rewarding than visiting chefs who share the same passion for exceptional ingredients and outstanding cuisine. This week, we had the pleasure of returning to De Leuf – Restaurant van de Bunt, where we were warmly welcomed by Chef Robin van de Bunt and his talented team.

As a Michelin-starred restaurant, De Leuf has built an impressive reputation for combining refined techniques, creativity, and the finest seasonal products. It is always inspiring to see how top chefs transform premium ingredients into unforgettable dining experiences.

For this visit, we brought along 5 kilograms of fresh Black Winter Truffles, freshly sourced and selected for their exceptional aroma and quality. The arrival of fresh truffles is always an exciting moment in any professional kitchen, and it was wonderful to discuss the season’s harvest and the many possibilities these prized delicacies offer.

Chef Robin van de Bunt’s dedication to craftsmanship and his respect for high-quality ingredients make De Leuf a natural partner for fresh truffles. Seeing the enthusiasm and creativity that truffles inspire among Michelin-starred chefs is one of the highlights of what we do.

BLACK WINTER TRUFFLES

The rich, earthy aroma of Black Winter Truffles pairs beautifully with the sophisticated dishes for which De Leuf is renowned. We look forward to seeing how Chef Robin and his team incorporate these exceptional truffles into their seasonal menus and create memorable experiences for their guests.

Today, I receive questions about fine black and white truffles from both the summer and autumn seasons, and restaurants regularly ask me which wine pairs best with which truffle. The people who appreciate truffles come from all age groups and walks of life—many young people, too. Food brings people together.
